Worker documentation

Foreign worker documentation involves many steps. A ABLE prepares the required documents and assists with submissions to government agencies through to completion. Our comprehensive service helps employers manage the process accurately and efficiently.

There are two ways to arrange MOU recruitment:

  1. Employers may handle the process themselves, or
  2. Appoint a licensed foreign worker recruitment company to prepare and submit the documentation.

The second option saves time: employers provide the supporting documents and the company handles the process. Prepare the following documents.

For individual employers

  1. Copy of the employer's Thai ID card, or work permit if the employer is a foreign national
  2. Copy of the employer's house registration
  3. Evidence of the need to employ foreign workers, such as business records, commercial registration, lease, land title or vessel registration
  4. Map showing the workplace location
  5. Photographs of the business and workplace
  6. If appointing a representative, a power of attorney with a THB 10 revenue stamp

For corporate employers

  1. Copy of the company registration certificate
  2. Copy of the Thai ID card or work permit of the managing director, shareholder or authorized signatory
  3. Copy of the house registration of the managing director, shareholder or authorized signatory
  4. Evidence of the need to employ foreign workers, such as business records, company or partnership registration, commercial registration, lease, land title or vessel registration
  5. Map showing the workplace location
  6. Photographs of the business and workplace
  7. Copies of tax registration forms PP.01 and PP.20, or the corporate taxpayer number
  8. If appointing a representative, a power of attorney with a THB 10 revenue stamp
  9. Note: workers recruited under the MOU system must also be registered for social security.

When a worker leaves an employer, the worker must find a new employer within 15 days and notify the registrar within 15 days of finding the new employer. Work permit renewal after an employer change requires the employment notification and a copy of the worker's registration history.

A ABLE provides documentation services to reduce the administrative burden for employers and workers. We continually improve our systems, and our knowledgeable team works with care and sincerity to deliver accurate and efficient service.
